How to Stake SOL with Phantom Wallet (Step-by-Step Guide)
Phantom is one of the most popular Solana wallets, making it easy to stake SOL directly from your mobile device.
In this guide, we’ll show you exactly how to stake SOL with Phantom using native staking and delegate to Vladika in just a few simple steps.
If you are new to staking, don’t worry, the entire process takes only a minute.
Step 1 Open Phantom and Select SOL
Open the Phantom app on your phone.
On the home screen, go to the Tokens section and tap Solana (SOL).
This will open the SOL asset page where you can access staking options.

Step 2 Tap More and Choose Stake SOL
Under the SOL chart, tap the three-dot menu (More).
From the menu, select Stake SOL.
Step 3 Choose Native Staking
Phantom will offer two options:
Liquid Staking and Native Staking
For delegating directly to a validator like Vladika, choose Native Staking.
We recommend native staking if you want direct validator delegation and full control over your stake.

Step 4 Search for Vladika
In the validator search field, type Vladika.
Select Vladika from the list of validators.
Step 5 Enter the Amount and Confirm
Enter the amount of SOL you would like to stake.
Then tap Stake to confirm the transaction.
Your SOL will begin activating and will start earning rewards after the next epoch.

When Do Rewards Start?
After staking, your SOL first enters the activating phase.
You can track the status of your staking position on the SOL coin page in the Your Stake section, where Phantom will show your delegated amount and its current status.
Once the status changes from Activating to Active, your SOL begins earning rewards.
This usually happens after the next Solana epoch, which typically takes around 2 days.
