Staking with Solflare

Solflare makes staking look effortless — but don’t let the sleek interface fool you. As soon as you open the staking menu, Solflare subtly nudges your SOL toward their own app validator.

Here’s the truth: being first in the list doesn’t mean it’s the best choice. Even if you search for “Vladika,” their validator stays on top — but scroll down a bit, and you’ll find us. Plus, with our crypto stake calculator, you can see exactly how much your SOL could earn with a better validator.

While Solflare offers a modest 6.10% APY, staking with Vladika gets you a confident 6.63% APY. That’s not just a number — that’s real rewards. APY (Annual Percentage Yield) tells you how much your SOL is working for you. Higher APY means more returns for every SOL you delegate. Simple math, darling.

So what do you do?

Start by navigating to the Staking section — you’ll find it in the menu on the left (as shown in the screenshot above). It’s marked with a little piggy bank icon — because that’s where your SOL starts working for you.

Once you’re there, hit the “Stake now” button. That’s your first step to turning idle SOL into an earning machine.

Next, you’ll see the staking interface — this is where the real magic happens.

Enter the amount of SOL you want to stake (don’t forget to leave 0.5 SOL for fees). Then, in the validator search bar, type “Vladika”.

You’ll probably notice that Solflare’s own validator appears first, even if the APY is lower. Scroll down and select “Vladika” — the one with the black logo and the better yield. Hit the “Stake” button.

Then comes the moment of truth — if you like what you see, hit “Confirm” and make it official.

Within a few moments, your stake will enter the activation phase.

It will go live at the beginning of the next epoch — and from there, it’ll do what it does best: grow.
